Terms of Service

Famzyo (the “Service”) is operated by Spencer Ryan-Prewett (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you (“you”, “the user”) agree to these Terms of Service.

By continuing to access or use Famzyo you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. You confirm you are of legal age in your jurisdiction, or have permission from a parent or guardian to use the Service.

Famzyo is a shared household organiser providing calendars, tasks, shopping lists, messages and reminders for invited family members. Features may evolve over time.

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:

• use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose;
• send spam, malware or abusive content;
• infringe anyone’s intellectual property or privacy rights;
• interfere with the security or integrity of the Service (including probing, scraping, reverse engineering or circumventing access controls);
• impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity on your account. You retain ownership of the content you submit (events, tasks, lists, messages) and grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the Service to you and your invited family members.

The Service, including its software, design, branding and documentation, is owned by Spencer Ryan-Prewett and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with your selected plan. You must not resell, redistribute or create derivative works of the Service.

Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, in GBP. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle’s Buyer Terms. Our own refund commitments are described in our Refund Policy.

Where a free trial is offered, we collect your card details at sign-up but do not charge until the trial period ends. You can cancel at any time before then via your account settings or via paddle.net.

We work hard to keep Famzyo available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or free from data loss. We may from time to time change, suspend or discontinue features.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay applicable fees, present a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our policies. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
